Relax in Tuscan comfort in your king or queen room with private bath and patio overlooking Dominio IV's estate vineyard, Three Sleeps.
The vineyard takes its’ name from the Lewis and Clark expedition. It is reported that when the explorers came to the area of the river that is now Mosier, they asked the local Native Americans how far it was to the ocean. The answer, as you’ve quessed, was “Three Sleeps”. The vineyard is the source of Dominio IV's Tempranillo and Syrah grapes and is farmed organically and biodynamically.
Dominio is Latin for feast, and Spanish for territory or dominion. The IV refers to four people, four seasons, four climates, and four quadrants of the labyrinth. Dominio IV’s wines come from a place in the heart that is meant to bring together family and friends. For more information about Dominio IV and the full range of wines that we produce please see our website at www.dominiowines.com. Please look forward to enjoying a complimentary glass of wine, if you choose, with the Innkeepers on the evening of your arrival.
Vineyard tours are available and can be arranged upon arrival.
Mosier is located in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge between Hood River and The Dalles. The Gorge offers an extraordinary range of activities throughout the year, including wind surfing, kite boarding and other water sports, skiing and snowboarding, hiking, fishing, birding and many others.
